I am delighted to be participating here today with you in the inauguration of the new generation of the Post-Secondary Level V Qualification for Assistants for Students with Special Educational Needs.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, I would like to express our support for initiatives that empower education professionals and create better opportunities for children and young people in Kosovo.
For us, inclusive education is a policy objective and a shared responsibility for investing in the future of the country and in respecting human rights. A society that values knowledge for all produces more justice for everyone. Therefore, the professional preparation of assistants for students with special educational needs is of extraordinary importance for our country and the future of children. These professionals play a key role in supporting children and in building schools where each student feels equal.
I express my gratitude to all institutional and international partners who are contributing to the advancement of inclusive education in the Republic of Kosovo. Through these collaborations, we are building professional capacities, strengthening educational standards and creating real opportunities for children who need additional support in the educational process.
Today you are starting a professional journey, which has special value for our society. Through your work, you will directly influence the lives of children, but also their families, in their professional and personal future.
Therefore, I thank you for choosing this noble profession with great social impact.
I wish you success during this qualification and assure you that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo will continue to support the development of inclusive education and the creation of equal opportunities for every child.
