The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received a delegation from the Political Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, consisting of 11 members from 9 different countries.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that, for the Republic of Kosovo, NATO membership is a strategic priority that serves the cause of lasting peace and long-term security in the Western Balkans and throughout Europe.
In addition to discussing cooperation and the path forward, the meeting covered democratic progress and ongoing economic development, the security situation in the country and the region, as well as the enhancement of the defense capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force and the professional training of its personnel—all in line with the policies and standards of the North Atlantic Alliance.
