Yesterday, on the sidelines of the Berlin Process Summit, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso.
Prime Minister Kurti and President Renaud-Basso continued their discussion from their last meeting in London in April on strengthening cooperation and infrastructure and economic projects in Kosovo.
“In this new mandate, we aim to build our investment partnerships around Kosovo’s strategic priorities: energy and water security, defence, sustainable transport and infrastructure,” Prime Minister Kurti said, adding that the EBRD remains an important partner on our European path as well.
Since Kosovo joined the Bank in 2012, the EBRD has provided approximately €967 million in financial support for 151 projects in both the public and private sectors.
