The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Kosovo, Christian Grønbech-Jensen, for a farewell meeting, during which they discussed the good relations between the two countries and their further strengthening.
Expressing gratitude to Denmark, Prime Minister Kurti sought support for advancing Kosovo’s application status to that of a candidate country for European Union membership. He also emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo, in addition to being clearly defined and unwavering, is committed to the strategic goal of becoming part of NATO.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Grønbech-Jensen for his service and contribution. He received congratulations from the Ambassador regarding the Government and its new mandate, while also congratulating the Ambassador on the agreement with the United States of America and Greenland regarding the strengthening of defense and security in the Arctic and the North Atlantic. In addition to justice, energy, education, and technology, the meeting addressed concrete ways and opportunities to deepen economic and trade cooperation, as well as to increase Danish investment in our country.
