Under the leadership of the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the second online meeting of the Organising Committee for the “Prishtina 2030” Mediterranean Games was held.
At the meeting, the current composition of the Organising Committee was approved, and preparations for the presentation of the Progress Report at the General Assembly of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG), on 20 August 2026, were discussed.
The Committee approved the Minister of Sport and Youth, Blerim Gashani, as the representative of the Organising Committee of the Mediterranean Games for the presentation of the Progress Report at the ICMG General Assembly.
Prime Minister Kurti wished great success to the athletes of Kosovo who will participate in the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games. He called on the state officials and representatives of sports organisations who will be in Taranto to make the most of this opportunity to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible from the organization of the Games, bearing in mind that Kosovo will be the next host country of the Mediterranean Games with “Prishtina 2030.”
All agenda items were approved.
