The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received American professor and great friend of Kosovo, Daniel Serwer.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his pleasure at the meeting with Professor Serwer, whom he assessed as an important and continuous voice in support of Kosovo. On this occasion, Professor Serwer was the first American guest to whom the Prime Minister congratulated the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America.
A wide range of important topics were discussed at the meeting, including the internal political situation, the steps that Kosovo is taking in preparation for membership in the European Union and NATO, as well as geopolitical developments and their implications for the country’s security.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Kosovo is fortunate to have a friend like Daniel Serwer, who, as he expressed, has never hesitated to speak the truth about the people of Kosovo and about the threats that Serbia poses to regional security.
