The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with colleagues, visited the Islamic Community of Kosovo on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, where he was welcomed by Naim Tërnava and his associates.
While thanking Mufti Tërnava and the Islamic Community for their role and contribution to society, Acting Prime Minister Kurti extended his greetings to the faithful on this holiday, recalling those who sacrificed so that Kosovo could be free and prosperous.

As every year, our first visit for the Eid al-Adha holiday is to the Islamic Community of Kosovo, in order to extend our greetings to Mufti Naim Tërnava and his associates on this holiday of sacrifice, which reminds us and continuously teaches us that sacrifice itself is also a celebration. This is because we enjoy the benefits and fruits of those who sacrificed before us and made it possible for us to have freedom and prosperity.
First and foremost, the martyrs and fallen heroes of the nation. We never forget that among them were also 37 imams and religious leaders from the liberation war led by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), to what we do today as state institutions, as the Islamic Community, and as the “Bereqeti” association, we strive to assist the citizens of the Republic in every need they may have, since Eid al-Adha is a holiday that obliges us to help one another, care for one another, and demonstrate solidarity, generosity and goodwill for the common good, leaving no one behind.
