The next meeting in Copenhagen of the First Acting Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, was with the Secretary of State for European Affairs of Croatia, Andreja Metelko-Zgombić.
Together they discussed the further deepening of bilateral relations and the strengthening of cooperation in areas such as the economy. On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the progress and economic growth of the country in the last four years, also emphasizing the positive performance of public enterprises and the allocation of the annual profit by the Central Bank of Kosovo to the Government’s account, where for the second year in a row the CBK transfers the shareable part of the annual profit to the Government’s account, as provided for by law, from 10 million as it was in 2024, now to 15 million.
Part of the discussion was also Kosovo’s aspirations and goals for membership in the Council of Europe and obtaining candidate country status.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed gratitude to Croatia for its unconditional support for Kosovo.
