The Acting First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development, and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, met with representatives of the non-governmental organization Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians (VoRAE) — Executive Director Isak Skenderi and Deputy Executive Director Vesa Batalli.
The meeting focused on the development of joint strategies and the enhancement of support for non-majority communities, aiming to contribute to a wide range of activities including combating discrimination, promoting coexistence, encouraging employment and education, and raising awareness to facilitate inclusion.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized that the Government, throughout this mandate, has been engaged in projects that positively target increased employment and participation of minorities in decision-making processes.
The non-governmental organization VoRAE promotes social justice, equality, and institutional inclusion of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities by implementing national and regional initiatives in the fields of education, employment, housing, and political participation, in close partnership with donors and European institutions.
