The Acting First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development, and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Matti Nissinen.
Thanking the ambassador for his support, commitment, and sincere dedication, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that Finland has been and remains a partner of the Republic of Kosovo. He noted that recent years have brought excellent cooperation and a further strengthening of Kosovo–Finland relations.
For his part, the ambassador said that during his four years in Kosovo, there has been bilateral cooperation and partnership—an experience which also reflects the overall relations between Kosovo and Finland.
Among other topics, the meeting addressed recent developments in the country and Kosovo’s European integration. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi wished the ambassador success in his future endeavors and assignments.
