Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi was invited by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) organization to a roundtable discussion in Berlin

During his official visit to Germany, the First Deputy Prime Minister in Office for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, was invited by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) organization center in Berlin, to a working lunch and roundtable discussion. Part of this roundtable were also members of the Bundestag from the ranks of the CDU, Vivian Tauschwitz and Tilman Kuban, as well as experts in various fields from the study center.

The topics of discussion were the enlargement process, Kosovo’s European integration and progress in recent years, current events in the country and the region, the Growth Plan, the Berlin Process, the security situation and the dialogue process.

The Deputy Prime Minister said in his addresses during the conversation that Kosovo remains committed to the European integration process, supported also by the high level of citizen support for EU integration. He emphasized our application for membership, the achievement of visa liberalization and the advancement in the implementation of reforms and the country’s economic growth in the last four years, in addition to the success in the field of the rule of law.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Secretary General of the KAS, Mark Speich, for the invitation, hospitality and organization, as well as all the participants for their fruitful contribution to this conversation.
