Prime Minister Kurti Participates in the 27th Edition of the SYMI International Symposium

Skiathos, Greece, July 18, 2025

For the 27th time, as every year in mid-July, the International Symposium SYMI was held in Greece, this time on the island of Skiathos, with the theme: “Pandora’s Paradox: Discovering Hope in a Turbulent World; Cultivating Peace, Democracy, and Sustainable Societies.”

Prominent activists and professors from around the world, politicians and diplomats present and discuss (under Chatham House Rules) various topics, ranging from the damages and risks posed by oligarchs and autocrats to the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence, progressive solidarity, and civic education.

The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated again this year in the panel dedicated to rethinking multilateralism and navigating a fragmented and multipolar world.

Among other observations, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that Kosovo is a beneficiary of euro-Atlantic multilateralism, having been recognized by 119 countries and a member of 150 international and regional organizations, while internally, it has combined economic growth with democratic advancement and continues to uphold both.
