The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received on a farewell visit the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Ambassador Aivo Orav.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Orav for the good and constructive cooperation, while expressing deep appreciation for his engagement and service in Kosovo since assuming office on 1 September 2024.
During his mandate, despite numerous challenges, Kosovo’s relations with the European Union were strengthened. In this regard, the Prime Minister highlighted Ambassador Orav’s significant work and dedication in the launch of the Reform and Growth Instrument.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the importance of the EU taking the next steps in its relations with Kosovo, in line with the progress made, toward granting the country its deserved status as a candidate for membership in the European Union.
Wishing him success in his future engagements, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Orav for his contribution and cooperation during his mandate in Kosovo.
