The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Speaker of the Parliament, Dimal Basha, and other associates, attended last night the opening ceremony of the 55th edition of the Theater Festival, which was held at the “Adriana” Theater in Ferizaj.
The festival began with the play “13” by the “Adriana” Theater from Ferizaj, directed by Sulejman Rushiti. This year’s edition will last from September 1 to 7. It brings six theater pieces into competition, while one play will be out of competition. In addition to the performances, other cultural activities will also be organized during the festival
The Prime Minister said that Ferizaj and the “Adriana” Theater have become an example for all of Kosovo, because they have exceptionally good performances and an extraordinary audience, and that it is always a pleasure for him to come and return there. Regarding the performance “13”, which he presented, he said that despite the fact that it was about historical events from a century ago, it was very current in many aspects.
The Prime Minister wished that in the coming days there would be as many audiences as possible, not only from Ferizaj, but also from other cities, so that they could see and enjoy the impressive performances.
