The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Mayor of the Municipality of Podujeva, Shpejtim Bulliqi, inaugurated the kindergarten in Kërpimeh, Podujeva Municipality.
The kindergarten in Kërpimeh, from the former “Azem Bejta” primary school, then “Hamit Sejdiu” School, damaged and neglected, has now been transformed into a modern kindergarten for use by children of the Kërpimeh Village and its surroundings. The investment value is 200 thousand euros. The facility has an area of 460 square meters, with a kitchen, administration space, warehouse, bathroom, three education rooms and a bedroom.
Stressing the importance of children receiving the right attention for their well-being from an early age, Prime Minister Kurti thanked the entire staff of educators at this nursery for the great work they are doing. He also thanked Mayor Bulliqi for the attention he has given to education, especially early education, during his government.
Mayor Bulliqi emphasized that this is a complete investment from the municipal budget. He said that with this investment, firstly we have preserved an old historical building for this locality, which is this school, and secondly we have created a new space and suitable conditions for pre-primary schools, which will also welcome children from several surrounding villages.
