Committee for the verification of the KLA war veterans list, war disabled and war martyrs convened today for the first time.
The meeting was attended by the representative of the KLA General Headquarters, of all KLA zones, KPC Headquarters representatives, representative of the Office for KLA war veterans of the Prime Minister’s Office as well as representatives of three associations emerging after the war – the Association of KLA War Martyrs, Association of KLA War Disabled, and the Organization of KLA War Veterans.
In this meeting Mr. Azem Syla was elected as the Head of this Committee.
The state Committee for the verification of the KLA war veterans list also scheduled its next meeting to adopt the criteria for classifying these categories (martyrs, veterans and disabled) as well as the Committee’s rules of procedure.
