Today, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has relieved Arbër Vokrri of his duties as Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration.
This decision follows Mr. Vokrri’s public statements in which he claimed that international diplomats and representatives of international institutions—specifically naming the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Ambassador Aivo Orav—have incited unrest in the north of the country through their actions.
Mr. Vokrri’s statements do not represent the positions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
