The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Deputy Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Jeton Raka, visited the municipality of Shtime today. They were welcomed there by the Mayor of the Municipality of Shtime, Qemajl Aliu.
They initially visited the newly started works for the revitalization of the “Ibrahim Shabani” road, a road that connects Shtime with Ferizaj and Lipjan. The road is two kilometers long and five meters wide. The value of the project is 419,750 euros and is financed by the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure. The works are expected to be completed within a year. On this occasion, the Prime Minister wished successful and speedy works, so that the residents of this area can enjoy this important project for them as soon as possible.
From there, Prime Minister Kurti continued to the city of Shtime, where he participated in the inauguration ceremony of the route that connects the “12 Qershori” road with “William Walker” within the city’s small ring road, an investment worth almost half a million euros. The route is 375 meters long and six meters wide, and has all the accompanying infrastructure, such as the flow of atmospheric sewage, public lighting and sidewalks on both sides.
On the occasion of the inauguration, he expressed that we often come and return to Shtime because of the valuable investments, which we are making both as the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, but also as the Municipality of Shtime, as he thanked the residents for their warm hospitality and congratulated them on the projects that are being finalized.
