The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Podujeva, Shpejtim Bulliqi, visited the works underway for the construction of the semi-Olympic swimming pool in Podujeva.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Municipality of Podujeva, which is worth 4 million euros.
With an area of 4,555 square meters, the facility will have a basement, ground floor and first floor. This facility also includes two swimming pools: the large competition pool with an area of 256 square meters and the children’s pool with an area of 105 square meters.
After seeing up close the works being carried out on this project, Prime Minister Kurti wished for successful and speedy work in its full finalization, which will offer modern conditions for organizing sports competitions.
