Vitomirica, Peja and Trubuhoc, Istog, 8 August 2025
The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and the Executive Director of the Emergency Management Agency, Genc Metaj, visited today the family of firefighter Sefadin Osmanaj on the 1st anniversary of his fall in the line of duty. In Vitomirica, Peja, at the Osmanaj family home, they were welcomed by father Shaban Osmanaj, his wife Gjejrane, and his two sons, Erjoni and Edi. During this visit, together with family members, they placed fresh flowers near his grave and monument in Trubuhoc, in the municipality of Istog.
Sefadin Osmanaj will always be remembered with deep gratitude for his dedication to his duty and the noble profession of firefighter.
