The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Albin Kurti, met today with the Director of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), Vladimir Obradovic. RYCO is a Berlin Process initiative dedicated to reconciliation and peace through youth cooperation, inspired by the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO).
Last year, Kosova chaired RYCO and Prishtina hosted the Youth Forum for the first time, welcoming young people from all Western Balkan Six countries- Kosova, Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. Prime Minister Kurti expressed his appreciation for the successful forum and emphasized the importance of more similar events taking place in Prishtina, as well as more joint mobility projects with a particular focus on dual education and sports. He also highlighted the importance of these exchanges in deconstructing false narratives and fostering discussions on development opportunities.
Prime Minister Kurti reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosova to supporting RYCO in its mission of reconciliation and cooperation among the youth of the region.
