The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, visited the southern municipality of Mitrovica today. There he was welcomed by the new mayor of this municipality, Faton Peci.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated Mayor Peci on the start of his mandate after this year’s local elections and wished him success in governance, as well as offered cooperation in the implementation of projects of interest to the municipality and citizens. During the conversation, he was informed of the first decisions that Mayor Peci has taken and the planning for the fulfillment of the government program.
Previously, Prime Minister Kurti, together with Mayor Peci and members of the government cabinet, inaugurated the new pedestrian bridge over the Iber River, which was opened less than four months after the other new bridge for vehicles.
