The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in his office the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati.
Ms. Prattipati congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on the formation of the Government and on his new mandate. They discussed bilateral relations and their significant potential, particularly in the areas of trade and investment, as well as in other fields such as the rule of law, security, and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the congratulations and for the cooperation to date with Ms. Prattipati and the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, as well as his and the new government cabinet’s full readiness to continue and further advance this cooperation, including bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister, inter alia, emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo and the government he leads remain committed to their objectives of integration into the EU and NATO, and are engaged in promoting peace and security in the region and alliances built on shared democratic values.
