The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the French writer Sophie Kepes to a friendly meeting.
Ms. Kepes is staying in Kosovo to present her book “Belonging (French: Désappartenir), which, translated into Albanian, readers had the opportunity to find at the 25th Book Fair in Pristina, at the publishing house Buzuku.
Together with writer Abdullah Zenelin, they discussed the titles of literary classics, new works that are being added to literature, and the importance of book fairs in preserving and promoting the culture of reading.
Sophie Kepes is a writer, translator, screenwriter and lecturer. She is a well-known figure in contemporary French literature, with a career that includes novels, essays, translations and film scripts. She has taught literary creation and screenwriting at the University of Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle.
