The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the Special Representative of Norway for the Western Balkans, Eirik Nestås Mathisen.
The Prime Minister appreciated the good relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Norway and expressed gratitude for Norway’s continuous support throughout all phases of state-building, as well as integration processes, including its active support for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and deepening cooperation in the fields of defense and security, energy, and information technology. Regional issues and other topics of mutual interest were also part of the discussion.
The Prime Minister thanked Norway for its role in achieving the Trade Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the EFTA countries, which creates new opportunities to deepen economic relations and trade ties.
