During his stay in Skopje, on the sidelines of the Western Balkans Leaders’ Meeting on the Growth Plan, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski.
The Prime Minister congratulated his counterpart for the successful organization of this next summit of Western Balkan leaders and thanked him for the hospitality.
They discussed bilateral relations, the level of implementation of agreements between the two governments from joint meetings, among which the functionalization of two common border points was emphasized, and new opportunities for cooperation.
In the spirit of the summit, they also discussed the integration process towards the European Union for both countries and the region, as well as the importance of the Growth Plan and EU funds in accelerating the reforms of the European agenda.
During the meeting and his participation in the Western Balkans Leaders’ Summit, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by the Ambassador of Kosovo to North Macedonia, Florian Qehaja.
