The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed today in a meeting the Executive Director of Raiffeisen Bank International, Johann Strobl, and the Chief Executive Officer of Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo, Anita Kovaçiq.
They discussed financial and banking developments, the economy of the country and the region, and the good opportunities that Kosovo offers for doing business.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the importance of banking stability and financial transparency for attracting foreign investments and supporting local enterprises. He assessed that Kosovo has great development potential and emphasized the necessity of close cooperation between public institutions and the banking sector.
The Prime Minister also underlined the crucial role of the diaspora, which in addition to remittances, brings investment capital, professional experience and international networks, which are essential for increasing investments and the country’s economic development.
