The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolf. Ambassador Rudolf congratulated the Prime Minister on his new mandate in government and handed him a letter of congratulations from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. In the letter of congratulations, Chancellor Merz, among other things, states: “I am pleased that together with you we will further deepen the close and friendly relations between our countries.”
The meeting discussed the further deepening and expansion of bilateral relations during the new mandate in order to increase economic cooperation and increase investments. Germany is one of Kosovo’s main trading partners. Prime Minister Kurti outlined the government’s priorities and the capital investments planned in this mandate, which will give a boost to economic development.
The meeting also discussed other topics of common interest, including cooperation in the field of security and defense.
