Today, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, and the Acting Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, received in the Government students who are beneficiaries of various scholarship schemes, including scholarships for studies abroad at the Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels, as well as recipients of community scholarships.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the students on their achievements and underscored the importance of supporting young people who aim to pursue their education at the most prestigious international institutions.
He emphasized that investment in quality education remains one of the Government’s main priorities, expressing his confidence that these young people will be important contributors to the country’s professional and societal development upon the completion of their studies.
Minister Nagavci commended the commitment and dedication of the scholarship-winning students, noting that the support schemes for students represent a direct investment in Kosovo’s human capital.
She recalled that over the past five years, MESTI has significantly expanded its scholarship schemes, both for students within the country and for those studying abroad, and highlighted the commitment to continue working toward improving the quality of education and increasing opportunities for students.
The beneficiary students expressed their gratitude for the support provided and valued the opportunity to pursue studies at universities both inside and outside the country. They stressed that they would put the knowledge gained in the service of advancing Kosovo.
The Government of Kosovo and MESTI reaffirmed their commitment to continuing supportive policies that enable the country’s youth to benefit from quality education at home and abroad, as well as to contribute to the further development of the state.
