Prishtina, 27 February, 2026
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Përparim Kryeziu, welcomed the President of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts, Academician Justina Shiroka Pula, together with the Vice President of the Academy, Academician Fejzullah Krasniqi, and the Scientific Secretary, Academician Bardh Rugova.
President Shiroka Pula congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on his new governing mandate and thanked him for his continued participation in the activities of ASHAK. She informed the Prime Minister about the work, plans and priorities of the institution she leads, and expressed the readiness of ASHAK to cooperate with state institutions for the needs and interests of the country, through the expertise provided by the Academy.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Speaker Shiroka Pula on her new assignment and wished her success in her work. He emphasized the priorities of the Government, including education and justice, as well as their importance for a new impetus for the country’s development, but also the role that cooperation with ASHAK can play in this regard.
They discussed developments, progress and challenges in the country, and agreed to maintain regular communication to deepen cooperation.
