The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, yesterday.
This meeting, held as part of regular engagements and ongoing communication, focused on current topics of mutual interest, including the outcomes of the NATO Summit held in the Hague, preparations for this year’s Berlin Process Summit to be hosted in London, United Kingdom, as well as the recent constitution of the Assembly.
During the meeting, the issue of the Republic of Kosovo citizen Arbnor Spahiu was also raised. Prime Minister Kurti stated that he was unjustly arrested and continues to be held in pre-trial detention by Serbian authorities since June 7, and that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are actively working towards securing his release.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude to the United Kingdom for its continued support to Kosovo and extended his congratulations to the ambassador on the occasion of the UK’s national and official holiday – the birthday of King Charles III.
