The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, visited the educational summer camp organized by “Balkan Sunflowers Kosova” (BSK), where around 200 children from the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities are participating.
This five-day summer camp, which is being held in the Germia Park, aims to combine educational, recreational and social activities in a safe and inclusive environment. About 200 children from the centers of the non-governmental organization BSK in Fushë Kosovë, Graçanicë and Plemetin participate. The activities last three hours a day.
Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Nagavci met and talked with the children participating in the camp and were informed about the activities and trainings they are conducting. On the occasion of the visit, the Prime Minister and the Minister received a letter of gratitude from the organizers, namely from the Executive Director of BSK for the support provided in the realization of the summer camp and for the visit today.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, at the request of the BSK organization, has supported the full financing of the camp this year.
