Prior to the foundation stone laying ceremony for the new facility of the Main Center of Family Medicine, in the courtyard of the current facility, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Mayor of Shtime, Qemajl Aliu, and the Acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, paid tribute and laid fresh flowers at the statue of Dr. Vezir Bajrami, doctor and soldier of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
The Main Family Medicine Center in Shtime bears the name “Dr. Vezir Bajrami” in honor and remembrance of his life and legacy. He was a model of civic and national dedication who, with professionalism and compassion, served the citizens of Shtime and contributed to the liberation war as both a soldier and doctor of the KLA. Vezir Bajrami also played a key role in the identification of the victims of the Reçak Massacre.
