Kosovo becomes part of the Nationally Determined Contributions Partnerships (NDC)

The Acting First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received in a meeting the Head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kosovo, Nuno Queiros.

Together they discussed Kosovo’s inclusion in the Nationally Determined Contributions Partnership (NDC). The Head of the United Nations Development Program, Nuno Queiros, congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister and the government for their success in addressing climate change and pursuing the fulfillment of the Green Agenda.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed his gratitude to Mr. Queiros, partner agencies in the UN and friendly and allied states, who supported our country in its inclusion in this framework.

Nationally Determined Contributions, or NDCs, are national climate action plans from each participating country under the Paris Agreement. Kosovo will report its annual achievements, becoming part of shared global priorities for climate and environmental protection.
