Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri, met with KFOR Commander, General Salvatore Farina, upon this occasion it was discussed the latest political trends and security in the country.
Deputy Prime Minister congratulated KFOR Commander, General Farina, for hard work to realize its peacekeeping mission and providing security for all citizens of our state. Mrs. Tahiri also praised the contribution of NATO and KFOR in building security architecture of Kosovo by supporting the Kosovo`s Euro-Atlantic integration vision.
General Farina thanked the Government of Kosovo for constructive cooperation and partnership by ensuring that KFOR will continue to be committed on advancing its peace and security mission. General Farina reaffirmed that NATO remains committed to continue peacekeeping mission in accordance with its mandate in order to provide a secure environment and overall stability in Kosovo.
