At this meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ambassador of Belgium in Kosovo, Pascal Gregoire, a series of current issues were discussed including Kosovo’s integration process into the European Union.

Thanking the ambassador for the great contribution that Belgium has provided for the development processes in Kosovo, Prime Minister Thaçi emphasized the cooperation between the two countries is necessary to take place in all areas.

The main agenda of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is the agenda of Kosovo’s integration into the European Union and NATO. In this direction, all of our institutional commitment is focused in full compliance with of the integration standards and criteria – stated Mr. Thaçi, adding that the supportive role of Belgium within the context of Kosovo’s European integration process is of a special importance.

Belgium’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Pascal Gregoire commended Prime Minister Thaçi for the constructive approach of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the technical dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, the Belgian Ambassador, Gregoire regarded the quick beginning of visa liberalization dialogue for Kosovo citizens as an important step.
