The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, participated in the next meetings within the dialogue process held in Brussels.
Initially, a bilateral meeting was held with the EU Special Representative, emissary Miroslav Lajcak, and then a trilateral meeting was held. In the bilateral meeting, many topics were discussed, while in the trilateral meeting, the topic of discussion was foreseen according to the agenda, the way forward with the implementation of the Basic Agreement and the Ohrid Annex.
In the bilateral meeting with the emissary Lajçak as well as in the trilateral one, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized the necessity of implementing the Basic Agreement and the Ohrid Annex, in its entirety and without further delays, through a fair and equal sequencing plan between the parties.
He also underlined the need for signing the agreements, as a guarantee for its implementation, taking into account the continuous rejection of the agreement by Serbia and its red lines that violate the spirit and articles of the agreement, the need to withdraw the letter deposited by Serbia through the former – Prime Minister Brnabić and the handing over of the master criminal and terrorist Milan Radoicić by Serbia, as the leader of the terrorist act of Banjska.
Meanwhile, one of the topics addressed in the bilateral meeting with the emissary Lajçak was the issue of missing persons, where Serbia continues to block the implementation of the joint statement. Agreements on freedom of movement, energy and official visits were also discussed. Emissary Lajçak appreciated the opening of the center for technical inspections in the north, while he mentioned that within a month the interconnection lines will be released, advancing with the implementation of the energy agreement.
