In Godancë of Shtime, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, laid the ground stone of the new nursery.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that this project proves the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and the Municipality of Shtime, to invest and take care of children who are both the present and the future of our country.
This is the 31st nursery school, among those we have built, renovated and adapted, said the Prime Minister. He reiterated that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo remains engaged in investments for early education, therefore so far it has invested 10.7 million euros for kindergartens, while there are another 5 million from the IPA funds of the European Union.
The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, announced that the nursery which is being built in Myzeqina is expected to be finalized soon, while the nursery in Petrovë is planned for next year.

Today is a happy day for Godancë and Shtime, for the children and for the parents, who laid the foundation stone of the new nursery here, which represents the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, as well as Municipality of Shtime, to invest and take care of children, who are both the present and the future of our country.
Early education is crucial for the character and very important for the career of these children, one day when they will grow up and continue the good works that our generation does, both for themselves, but also for those who will come after them, as new generations in the future.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has so far invested 10.7 million euros, money from our state’s budget, for daycare centers, and there are another 5 million from IPA, European Union funds.
This is the 31st nursery, among those we have built, renovated and adapted.
