The Government of the Republic of Kosovo was honoured to propose the first chargés d’affaires as representatives in the first diplomatic missions in ten countries in the world, a step which is important in the building of the Kosovan diplomatic service.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, said he considered those proposed to be professional people with national credibility and with a vision for Kosovo’s policy and diplomacy.
Prime Minister Thaçi emphasised that the vision for Kosovo’s foreign policy and diplomacy is integration with NATO and the EU, as well as building good relations with all its neighbours.
In the meeting, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Skender Hyseni, presented the proposal for eleven chargés d’affaires in Kosovo’s diplomatic missions, emphasising that this proposal was the result of wide and ongoing inter-institutional consultation in Kosovo.
Those proposed are:

3. London Muhamet Hamiti
4. Paris Muhamedin Kullashi
5. Berlin Vilson Mirdita
6. Rome Albert Prenkaj
7. Brussels Ilir Dugolli
8. Ankara Bekim Sejdiu
9. Vienna Sabri Kiçmari
10. Bern Naim Mala
11. Tirana Gazmend Pula
This proposal was submitted to the Office of the President of the Republic for enactment.
