The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held its regular meeting in which it:
– Approved the Banking Law Project aimed at regulating banking activity in our country to promote and sustain a healthy financial system.
– Approved the Regulation on Personnel Security Verification Procedures and Complaint Procedure, which outlines rules and procedures for verifying the security of personnel accessing classified information, administering, and circulating classified information while adhering to the principle of “need to know.”
– Approved the Regulation on the Protection of Classified Information in the Industrial Field, which establishes procedures for safeguarding classified information in the industrial field, in line with European legislation, particularly the Council Decision of September 23, 2013, on security rules for the protection of classified information within the EU.
– Approved the Regulation on the Physical Security of Classified Information, which sets forth procedures for safeguarding classified information in the industrial field and aligns with EU legislation.
– Approved the Regulation on the Management of Classified Information and the Establishment of the Classified Information Unit. This unit aims to create standards for the physical security of classified information for all public institutions, economic operators, securing spaces holding classified information, and setting standards for the physical transportation of classified information.
– Approved the Regulation on Classification, Change of Classification Status, Destruction, and Disposal of Classified Information, which establishes procedures for classification, declassification, degradation, elevation of classification level, destruction, and disposal of classified information by the Classification Authority in institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
– Approved the Regulation on Determining Rules and Procedures for Coverage of Expenses for Educational, Health, or Rehabilitative Services for Children with Disabilities in a Municipality. This regulation specifies the rules and procedures for covering expenses for educational, health, or rehabilitative services for children with disabilities in accordance with their specific needs in a municipality other than where the child resides.
– Approved the Administrative Instruction for Cooperation of Institutional Structures and Mechanisms with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for the Implementation of Policies for Children’s Rights and Provision of Services for Child Protection.
– Approved the request of the Kosovo Privatization Agency for the return of funds amounting to 1,956.62 euros transferred to the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo.
– Allocated 27,836 euros for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and approved the Assembly’s request for an additional allocation of five (5) employees to implement the memorandum between the Kosovo Assembly and the National Democratic Institute regarding the establishment of the Parliamentary Institute and the advancement of oversight and transparency in the Assembly.
– Granted the right of use to the Municipality of Gjilan for public property to build the Medical High School and construct a Daily Stay Facility for the Elderly.
– Established an ad hoc Commission for professional assessment for the selection of the Executive Director at the Anti-Doping Agency.
– Reallocated 4 million euros to the Ministry of Local Government Administration to finance the implementation of 33 projects in municipalities benefiting from the program “Co-Financing with Donors for the Performance-Based Municipal Grants Scheme.”
– Approved the decision to further review the request for expropriation and the creation of servitude rights for public interest on the immovable properties affected by the implementation of the Project “Construction of Substation and Transmission Line” in Malishevë.
– Established the ad hoc Commission for the selection of senior management category, for the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense.
– Expropriated immovable properties for public interest affected by the implementation of the Project: Construction of the Prizren-Tetovo Road, Strazhë-Kyçja segment on the “Ibrahim Rugova” highway in Southern Prizren.
– Expropriated immovable properties for public interest for the implementation of the Project: “Construction of the Central City Square” in Rahovec.
– Expropriated immovable properties for public interest for the realization of the project “creation of spaces for traffic mobility and pedestrians” in Prizren. The expropriated properties belong to the former Social Enterprise “Liria” Prizren and will be used for the implementation of the project.
– Approved the Initiative for the signing of the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. This agreement promotes an international aviation system, and given that developments in air services are essential for the economic and cultural development of both countries, its approval is recommended.
– Established the commission for admission for the senior management category, namely the selection of the candidate for the position of Secretary General at the Ministry of Local Government Administration.
– Approved the Draft Law on Air Navigation Service Provider. This draft law aims to regulate the air navigation service provider, now in a form that meets the needs of this institution, known until now as the Air Navigation Services Agency.
– Established the Admission Commission for the Senior Management Category for the position of General Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo.
