Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, during participation in the Vienna Economic Forum being held in Tirana, addressed with a speech to high profile participants.
During his speech, Prime Minister Mustafa initially thanked the Prime Minister Edi Rama for the organization and the possibility of discussing the Berlin process, a process crucial for joint economic development of the region.
Further, Prime Minister Mustafa said that differences and disputes should be transformed in bridges because our common goal is EU integration.
Stressing similar specifications as all countries face delays in development and underdeveloped infrastructure, Prime Minister Mustafa said that regional countries need support, especially some of the countries that have started transition process later and must walk with quick steps to align with EU countries.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa mentioned the works that are made in infrastructure, referring to Albania-Kosovo Highway R7 which is being finalized, to reach the Merdare border point, in the direction of Nis and highway R6 linking Pristina and Skopje which is being built and is expected to begin rehabilitation of the railway line RX (10).
Regarding projects in energy, Prime Minister Mustafa stressed options in cooperation with Albania, and with the help of the German government, we are working on building the 400 KW transmission line and options are studied to start the 110 kilovolt transmission line, Zhur- Dragash-Kukes.
Further, Prime Minister Mustafa stressed the need for increasing cooperation in other aspects that will align legislation in the markets and the region to become the destination of Western European businesses to assess alternatives for joint tourism.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa expressed his strong belief that the region needs a close and emphasized cooperation in all areas, ensuring that Kosovo shall take all necessary measures to provide the necessary infrastructure to encourage economic development.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa also stressed the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo that through dialogue to resolve differences and advance all matters of common interest of countries.
In this high-level forum are participating prime ministers of regional countries, leaders of the EU, the high leaders of the European Union and European as well as eminent European personalities and more.
