Honorable participants,
First, I want to express the best wishes to all Albanians on the independence of Albania, Flag Day and the Birthday of the Legendary Commander Adem Jashari.
We have all dreamed, worked and sacrificed to be free. And today, all the citizens of the country feel free and take pride in the freedom and the independence of Kosovo.
The sublime sacrifice of the liberation war and our age-long efforts give additional value to our independence. The Legendary Commander Adem Jashari is the man that was on the forefront of our cause for unity of the people of Kosovo for freedom and independence.
We are today adding meaning to the freedom and independence of Kosovo, our state, freedom values, because one of the most important decisions I have taken over the last few years has been the naming of the Prishtina International Airport after the Legendary Commander Adem Jashari.
May all the people of Kosovo, all Albanians use it with joy!
This was just a formal decision as Adem Jashari has always been in the minds and hearts of all Albanians.
Again, congratulations and good work to all of you!
