On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and in my name, I express my warmest congratulations n the success of the Kosovar singer, Rona Nishliu, who represented Kosovo’s values in a dignified manner under the national Albanian flag at the “Eurovision” song contest.
Rona’s rare talent and the emotion she brought to the stage in Baku amazed TV audiences across all European countries and who voted to bring the Kosovar singer to the top ranks of this competition.
Rona showed high quality, with an excellent song by the composer, Florent Boshnjaku, managing to receive high praise from world media, who compared her to divas of world music.
Rona Nishliu is a good success story for young people in Kosovo, the best example of Kosovo’s successful youth, who have great potential value in all fields, especially art, culture and sport.
Rona’s success is inspiring for other young people, who challenge themselves in international competitions.
The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are determined and deeply committed to ensuring that soon our young people have the opportunity to represent the Republic of Kosovo, so that they can display the European values of the democratic state of Kosovo, in various musical and sporting competitions across the world.
