Honourable U.S. Ambassador, Jacobson,
Honourable Deputy Prime Minister,
Honourable Mayor,
Honourable Ministers,
Honourable KSF Commander,
Dear all of you present, citizens of Prizren,
Today we are gathered on verge of 15th anniversary celebration of the freedom of Kosovo in the beautiful city of Prizren, to inaugurate the monument of two fallen United States soldiers, in May 1999, during efforts for Kosovo’s freedom.
Not far from here, in Prizren, two American soldiers have fallen in an effort to stop the genocide in and to stop ethnic cleansing during humanitarian efforts
We humble with highest respect to the humanitarian commitments of the United States and all NATO countries.
There are no words to describe the sacrifice of United States soldiers, for the freedom of Kosovo, but one thing I can say today on behalf of the Government, on behalf of the people of Kosovo: Honourable U.S. Ambassador, the people of Kosovo, Kosovo’s institutions will always humble with the highest respect for the commitment and support of the United States, the U.S. Government and the American people.
We will work on our friendship with the American people and the United States to affirm this eternal friendship.
We are the youngest state in Europe, but the most pro-American country in all Europe, and we feel proud for!
Thank you very much!
