It was with deep sadness that we received the news on the premature death of the noted Albanian activist, politician, publicist and intellectual, Arben Xhaferi.
The premature death of Arben Xhaferi is a huge loss for you Xhaferi family, for the entire Albanian nation and for his friends and all those who knew him and acted with him.
Arben Xhaferi was a high profile politician, scholar and visionary who left behind a bright legacy and precious contribution to the political life not only in Macedonia but throughout the Albanian territories.
Arben Xhaferi was known for his political wisdom, intellectual insights, transparent ideas and a global conception of the Albanian cause.
Arben Xhaferi substantially contributed to the shaping of the overall movement for the liberation of Albanians, by articulating his individuality in a political party, by shaping the public opinion, analytic, synthesizing and assessing treatment of the position of Albanians in the last and current century.
The death of Arben Xhaferi marks the rest of one of the brightest minds of the Albanian civilization.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and on my personal behalf I express my sincerest condolences to Xhaferi family, friends and all those who acknowledge and value the overall contribution by Arben Xhaferi.
