Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, received the Minister of Welfare of the Republic of Latvia, Janis Reirs, who is visiting Kosovo.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Mustafa informed him about progress in Kosovo and the Government focus on economic development and welfare of the citizens of Kosovo.
Speaking about the support provided to different social categories during this period, Prime Minister Mustafa stressed the economic and fiscal reforms of the government, which are producing concrete results for businesses and for the Kosovar economy.
Prime Minister Mustafa expressed the commitment of the Government of Kosovo for deepening bilateral cooperation with Latvia, especially in the field of social services, employment and pension and thanked for the support provided by Latvia on exchange of experience in these areas.
Prime Minister Mustafa also appreciated the importance it will have in these directions signature of a memorandum of cooperation between the two countries.
Minister of Welfare of the Republic of Latvia, Janis Reirs appreciated the progress in Kosovo, expressing support of Latvia for Kosovo.
Speaking of cooperation, minister Reirs, stressed the support for Kosovo in the field of social welfare and praised the work being done in Kosovo in this regard.
During the meeting was also discussed about support that Latvia will provide to Kosovo for membership in international organizations and to strengthen the international subjectivity of Kosovo in the international arena.
