Prime Minister Mustafa hosted in the meeting the Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonian, Musa Xhaferi, with whom he discussed the priorities of cooperation between the two countries.
“We agreed that there are many areas that need to intensify cooperation, such as the economy, education, culture, construction and infrastructure, but also on global issues which today have become very topical, even for Kosovo, and Macedonia also for other neighbouring countries. We have showed the common interest for more frequent and faster communication, and their interrelationships, whether at ministerial level, or the level of the Government, so that we can face all the issues that we consider to be in the common interest of both countries, but also in the interest of the region and the European interest, “said Prime Minister Mustafa, at the pronunciation for media after the meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia Musa Xhaferi thanked Prime Minister Mustafa for support to ongoing projects between the two countries.
“We congratulate the Government of Kosovo for the work on the highway Prishtina-Skopje, and believe that we will make efforts to build the highway from Blace to the ring of Skopje. This will affect the economic circulation, circulation of citizens. We have discussed on mutual willingness to joint meetings of governments, which will intensify, encourage, relevant ministries for ratification, preparation of agreements that are in favour of the two Governments “, emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister Xhaferi.
Also during the meeting it was discussed the possibility of holding joint meetings between the governments of Kosovo and Macedonia, but also for cooperation in all fields that are of interest to both countries.
