The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has appraised the outcomes of the European Union grant project aiming at stirring up the employment of disadvantaged groups and enhancing the global competitiveness of the electrical installation industry in Kosovo in accordance with the sustainable development and comprehensive social principles.
At the closing ceremony of the project, it was emphasized that through the assistance of this project, it was also invested in the establishment of the first factory in Kosovo for the production of granules, serving as a raw material for the production of all PVC-based products.
As a result of the grant project, 130 people from all communities were trained in electrical installations, where participants had the opportunity to learn theory and practice in the area of electrical installations. Thus the electrical installation market has benefited from an active workforce ready for work.

Dear participants,
Before the wartime, I followed the student Fatos Dida, as he developed professionally at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. After wartime, I saw the company “Proton Cable” growing as a business in Kosovo’s productive economy. Fatos is an example of a local entrepreneur who combines work and passion. “Proton Cable” is a success story of the domestic market and Kosovo exports.
This company has closely linked training and work, quality with European standards and competitive market prices and affordable for consumers. Fatos’ path has not been an easy one: many difficulties and obstacles, a lot of anxiety and stress. Fatos is proof that serious collective concerns turn into health and personal heart problems, and that our entrepreneurs have even more stress than our politicians. I was very upset, Fatos, when you were hospitalized and had an operation, and I was very happy when you fully recovered, and I am happy even today that you are enjoying good health and working well and properly. But, you need to delegate more work, my friend Fatos, because society and the economy need you for a long time. I am sorry I could not make it today, but I promise I will visit you soon.
Finally, thank you for affirming Proton as a constituent particle of the atom, because historically Electron has wronged it.
