The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the Minister of Defense of Albania, Pirro Vengu, to the government building.
First, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Albania’s support and our fraternal relations.
He especially emphasized the deepening of cooperation between our defense ministries. From the agreements reached such as those for facilitating the transit procedures of military goods for mutual purposes and needs and the agreement on the field of military medicine, to the importance of the aspect of training, joint exercises, joint landing in peacekeeping missions and international operations such as part of a contingent and joint investments in the defense industry.
Prime Minister Kurti underlined Albania’s support for Kosovo’s membership as a member with full rights in the Adriatic Charter (A-5), where Albania is also leading this year.
Thanking him for the visit and conversation, the Prime Minister wished Minister Vengu a fruitful stay in Kosovo.
