The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today welcomed the head of the OSCE in Kosovo, Michael Davenport, in a farewell meeting.
Both appreciated the good inter-institutional cooperation. Prime Minister Kurti expressed his deep gratitude for the role of Ambassador Davenport and the continued support of the OSCE in increasing institutional capacities, in their democratization and in respect of human rights.
The Prime Minister singled out the assistance of the OSCE during Ambassador Davenport’s mandate in matters related to the empowerment of members of non-majority communities, and the contribution through comments in the drafting of laws.
With mutual congratulations for success in each other’s work and commitments, both expressed their conviction that the close cooperation between the institutions of the Government and the OSCE will continue.
